What is “ Sugar Plum Fairies Dancing For Charity” About?

The Sugar Plum Fairy is the ruler of sweets. The physical embodiment of this season- joy and compassion. She represents goodness, light, hope, and childhood dreams.

This year we have had the pleasure of meeting the creator of an organization called

The Five Hive. They are a nonprofit organization that provides equitable resources to all families within the foster care system. They specifically have a passion for reuniting families. Several families in our community are on the verge or have been separated due to being unable to keep their utilities on. Once a family is reunited, children often return back into a foster home because there are little to no resources to help families in need succeed.

This year Skirts Up has decided to throw this fun, unique holiday party to bring awareness to what The Five Hive stands for, but also to supply Christmas to at least 25 newly reunited families within their program. Help us show love to those forgotten during the holidays.

Don’t miss your time to shine at this unique holiday charity event!

You are invited to the world of sweets. Embrace your inner sugar plum fairy by wearing a colorful dress, suite or makeup. Be creative! Someone will be appointed “The Sugar Plum of 2024”. Dinner will be provided, a delectable offering. Alcohol available. Enjoy dancing to lively music. Mark off a last minute gift for a special someone by entering to win the gift raffles. Last but NOT least, our friend, Psychic Medium Kelly Palmatier, will do a live group mediumship reading for our guests! (Please note, not everyone will receive a reading.)

You have never been to a holiday party like this!

(Did we mention that proceeds of this event provide children Christmas?!)
